The
LPT-to-I2C Professional software kit comes standard with both hardware
and software. This software has the capability to program
any I2C EEPROM from 128 bits (16 bytes) to
512 Kbits (64K
bytes).

and
write time are user configurable. LPT-to-I2C
Professional has
the ability to read and write in hex, bin, and mem file formats.
The hardware contains a DIP socket which can be used to program the
EEPROM but LPT-to-I2C Professional can
also be used to program an EEPROM in the user's target system.
There are also three universal modes: the first allows you to read/write
to any I2C device, or multiple I2C devices. You can use up to five
data sets and the data sets can be communicated with one at a time
or they can be sent in a programmable order. A variable delay can be
inserted between the data sets.
The second universal mode was developed to be a general purpose interface
for a user-defined device. The device can be composed of up to 256
registers. The register values can be changed using sliders, spin editors,
and other methods determined by the user.
The third, and latest addition to our software, is the Expert mode. The
Expert mode allows you to send i2c messages which are up to 64 characters
in length. Each message can contain from 0 to 64 restarts in the message
and a single transmission can contain from 1 to 1000s of i2c messages.
